Q. Where are you originally from and where are you based now?
Skyla – A: I’m from Oceanside, California, born and raised, and I currently still live there.
Q. Skyla, as an emerging model in the fashion industry, what do you love most about fashion?
Skyla – A: As an emerging model in the fashion industry, I love that fashion gives you the power of creativity and expression that gives you the ability to show character.
Q. Who are some of your favorite designers? Why?
Skyla – A: Some of my favorite fashion designers are Versace and Prada because their designs are very elegant and show the art in fashion. Some other fashion inspirations I like to wear in particular is Pandora, and I love the Victoria Secret runway fashion shows. The Victoria Secrets runway is a big inspiration for me because of the confidence the women held while advertising the clothing.
Q. How would you explain your style off the runway & photoshoot?
Skyla – A: My style on the runway is being super fierce but focused in my walking and posing in the outfits to make it a smooth transition. When I’m just doing a photoshoot, my style and mood is more creative, and I play around with different looks and serve many different poses.
Q. What do you like to do in your spare time? Any hobbies or other talents?
Skyla – A: I like to paint and play volleyball in my spare time.
Q. Can you share with us any recent or upcoming projects?
Skyla – A: One recent project I worked on was for my new modeling comp card. I had an amazing photoshoot and learned new modeling techniques. I was able to get more comfortable in front of the cameras, and this particular photoshoot allowed me to play with roles in many different styles and looks.
