EXCLUSIVE: GET TO KNOW RISING ACTOR LOGAN HICKEY!

Logan Hickey is a rising actor in the film industry. He recently wrapped filming “Friday the 13th -Blood Loss” by Forever Entertainment, and also confirmed new projects in the works! Read below our exclusive interview with Actor Logan Hickey to find out the latest!

Q: Where are you originally from and where are you based now?

Logan – A: I’m originally from Frederick, Maryland, and am currently based in Baltimore, Maryland.

Q: As a rising actor in the industry, what motivates and inspires you to be the best at your profession in acting and do you have a top 3 favorite actors, filmmakers, or directors that you want to work with in the business?

Logan – A: As a rising actor in the industry, I am motivated and inspired by the opportunity to bring stories to life and evoke emotions in audiences. The ability to connect with people on a deep level through my performances is incredibly rewarding and drives me to continually improve and strive for excellence in my craft. Additionally, the chance to collaborate with talented individuals, learn from experienced professionals, and push myself out of my comfort zone fuels my passion for acting and motivates me to be the best I can be in this dynamic and competitive industry. My favorite actors, filmmakers, and directors with whom I dream of working in the near future are Adam Sandler, Quentin Tarantino, and Steven Spielberg.

Q: Do you have a favorite genre in roles you play (Drama, Comedy, Action, Thriller, a little bit of all)?

Logan – A: I would say Comedy and Thrillers. I enjoy a good comedy scene, but I also really enjoy being the lead villain in the film. I’ve always enjoyed watching these two genres before I started acting. And now, when I act, I still find it enjoyable. When I’m in the zone, I tend to make the audience laugh a bit due to my performance or make them terrified. I know what my strengths are, and these two genres are things in which I can deliver an excellent performance.

Q: Can you share with us something people may not know about you? Any hobbies or or other talents you have and or like to do in your spare time?

Logan – A: Certainly! I love learning. Right now, I enjoy reading outside of acting; I also enjoy learning a new language, whether Japanese, Spanish, or Latin. I’m still new to Japanese and Spanish, but I enjoy learning them, and I hope one day I can speak them fluently. Outside of learning, I enjoy going to the gym to improve my physical physique. Also, I go on hikes to connect with nature and myself outside of work and acting. Hidden talents: I am a blind texter; I can look elsewhere and still form correct grammatical sentences without looking at my phone or keyboard. I’m also a mixologist. I have two years of experience in it and many years of experience in kickboxing, boxing, mixed martial arts, and starting Brazilian Jitsu.

Q: What are some projects that you’ve just wrapped up recently or that you’re currently working on?

Logan – A: My latest film, which I just finished filming, was Friday the 13th Blood Loss by Forever Entertainment. As for my future, I am about to fly out soon to film for an Amazon Prime video reality TV series. In December, I will be a part of a short film, and then next year, I’ll be starting another horror film with Forever Entertainment called Killer Pizza.
