GERI WHITE EXPLAINS GETTING INTO CHARACTER FOR HER LATEST ROLE IN THINGS WE DO FOR LOVE:

I had to first understand what the writers were asking. Reading the story and getting the back story of who Sam is and where she is going. The writer and director, Jamarr Felton is such a description storyteller that I fell in love with the idea of Sam’s trajectory. I had to identify with love or lack thereof, even if it caused me to think of my own personal experiences vs. imaginary circumstances. The writer and I would talk frequently about the mannerisms of Sam and how she responds. It was a fun process, and it gave me therapy at the same time !

Aside from acting, Geri White recently launched a film production company called 3 Chick Flicks, along with Danielle Harper, and Dannie Sinisi. The production company already has a film in the works called Cursed Heart, written by Eger Allen Poe.
