Q: Where are you originally from and where are you located now on the map?
Imran Khan Bangash – A: I’m originally from Overland Park Kansas. Where am I located now?.. Overland Park, Kansas.
Q: Rising in the film industry, what would you say motivates you and inspires you to be the best at your profession, and do you have a top 3 favorite actors, filmmakers or directors that you want to work with in the business?
Imran Khan Bangash – A: Oooo, I love this question; it’s going to take a while to answer, which is why the question is so great.
What motivates and inspires me to be the best at my profession is knowing that there is so much work and improvement to be done in the filmmaking community. Understanding that everyone in the world is an artist in some shape or form motivates me to push others to speak up for what they believe in. Motivating and inspiring others makes the world a safer and more beautiful place to live in.
Here are some of my favorite actors in order:
- Colin Morgan – known for the “Merlin” Series that motivated a line of movies with magic effects. Morgan reminds me of my eldest brother. He acts like him and almost looks like him.
- Henry Cavill – He’s a gamer, and he never fails to portray the characters he gets signed as. He portrays masculinity very well, but I feel the need to one-up him haha.
- Johnny Depp – Mr. Depp has a lot of charm, and that charm is greatly appreciated. His makeup and clothing are so-so, but he is expressing himself very well. I love Johnny Depp, not because I have to, but because he’s an amazing actor.
My favorite director would be Peter Jackson. His mix of drama, story, action, and comedy was too charming for me. It would be an honor to work with him.
Q: What would you say is your fav genre in roles you play( Drama, Comedy,Action, a little bit of all) ?
Imran Khan Bangash – A: It’s difficult to answer this question because I am so young. I’m still learning more about myself and how my comedy and drama works. But, if I had to answer, I would have to pick action. Action equals difficulty to me, and it would be a great achievement for me to bring respectable drama and comedy to an action film.
Q: Can you share with us something people may not know about you? Any hobbies or other secret talents you have and or like to do in your spare time?
Imran Khan Bangash – A:I play this video game competitively named “Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.” This game is essentially Chess but it’s a digital fighting game. There are fundamental “rules” in the game, intentional and unintentional rules, where if you follow them, you can read your opponent’s mind and punish them for playing a certain way. The characters I play are named Simon and Richter Belmont from the “Castlevania” series.
“Castlevania” is my favorite video game series because of the symbolism of the whip and how it should represent modern-day masculinity. I wish to portray a Belmont in a live-action film one day.
Q: What are some projects that you’ve just wrapped up recently or that you’re currently working on now?
Imran Khan Bangash – A: I haven’t wrapped up any big projects recently, but I’m currently working on my stunts, and my musical talents.
As of right now, I specialize in firearms, long-swords, bullwhips, traditional archery, parkour (without the flips), hand-to-hand, and kickboxing. I’m a beginner on some and intermediate on others. I’m trying my best to master all of these and continue working on other stunts.
I’m also practicing how to play the cello because I used to play the violin for 4 years. It would be nice to pick up another instrument along with singing and learning a little more about my voice.
Q: What are your official social sites on the web we can follow ?
Imran Khan Bangash – A: I use Instagram and Facebook! My Instagram is “imrancastle,” and my Facebook is “Imran Bangash.”
