Q: Where are you originally from and where are you based now?
Jacob Bulmer – A: I am originally from Dallas, TX, and I am currently based in Dallas, TX.
Q: What motivates and inspires you to be the best at your profession in acting and do you have a top 3 favorite actors, filmmakers, or directors that you want to work with in the business?
Jacob Bulmer – A: My motivation comes from the constant challenge to push myself beyond my limits, to explore new depths of emotion and vulnerability, and to deliver performances that resonate with people. The inspiration comes from the mountain of stories that are waiting to be told, the diverse range of human experiences that can be portrayed, and the potential to leave a lasting impact on others. My top 3 people that I would like to work with would be Tom Hanks because he is one of those few actors that can play in different genres and be amazing in them all. Directing would be both Christopher Nolan and Steven Spielberg because each of them brings a story to life in their own unique way that draws audiences every time.
Q:What is your favorite genre in roles you play (Drama, Comedy, Action, Thriller, a little bit of all)?
Jacob Bulmer – A: My favorite would have to be comedy because of the amount of fun one can have with a certain character that will bring a smile on someone’s face. But I do love playing in other genres like Drama, Action, and Thriller since they get me out of my comfort zone and bring a new experience with each project.
Q: Can you share with us something people may not know about you? Any hobbies or or other talents you have and or like to do in your spare time?
Jacob Bulmer – A: Most people don’t know is that I’m a neurodivergent that has ADHD, ADD, dyslexia, and Aspergers. One of my hobbies is watching nature documentaries and trying to mimic the noise of the animals. At a young age, I always found animals fascinating and wanted to learn more about their behaviors and why they do what they do to survive.
Q: What are some projects that you’ve just wrapped up recently or that you’re currently working on?
Jacob Bulmer – A: I recently wrapped up filming a movie called “The Voice of the Comforter.” It is a film about the Story of Jesus, and I was a disciple, but the coolest part was that we got to do the shoot on the set of where “The Chosen” is shot.
