Q: Priscilla, can you share a bit about your background? Where are you originally from, and where are you located now?

Priscilla Bell – A I’m originally from the vibrant city of Guayaquil, Ecuador. I have so many fond memories of my childhood there. From a young age, I was drawn to the world of performance and was fortunate enough to work as a child actress and model which led to winning several pageants. Currently, I’m residing in New York, pursuing my acting career. While I love the energy of New York, my ultimate dream is to relocate to Los Angeles and fully immerse myself in the heart of the film industry.
Q: As a rising actress, what motivates you and inspires you to be the best at your profession? And what do you love most about acting?

Priscilla Bell – A What truly motivates me is the joy that films bring to audiences. Knowing that my work can entertain, move, and even inspire people is incredibly rewarding. That’s why I constantly strive to improve my craft and give every role my all.
What I love most about acting is the opportunity to embody diverse characters. It’s fascinating to explore different emotions, personalities, and perspectives within various genres. Drama is a particular favorite of mine because it allows me to delve into intense emotions and, hopefully, captivate the audience with the raw honesty of the portrayal. Also, being bilingual (English and Spanish) is a huge asset. I love being able to use both languages with passion and dedication in my work. Honestly, I wish I could wake up every day and be on set, bringing stories to life.
Q: Do you have a top 3 favorite actors, filmmakers, or directors that you’ve been most inspired by and want to work with in the business?

Priscilla Bell – A: Absolutely! Charlize Theron is my ultimate inspiration. I admire her ability to transform herself and portray such a wide range of characters with incredible grace and authenticity. She is truly a chameleon.
Second on my list is Sharon Stone. She is another actress who brings such passion and dedication to her work. The depth and commitment she brings to each role is something I greatly admire.
Finally, Whoopi Goldberg has always held a special place in my heart, especially since seeing her in “The Color Purple.” That performance had a profound impact on me and inspired me to express raw and genuine emotions in my own performances. The story it told, and her delivery, just stuck with me.
Q: What would you say is your favorite genre in films (Drama, Comedy, Crime, Action, a little bit of all)?

Priscilla Bell – A Without a doubt, my favorite genre is Drama. But that’s not to say I don’t appreciate and enjoy working in other genres as well. I’ve had the opportunity to work in comedy, romance, and action and each brings its own unique challenges and rewards.
In fact, one of my recent films, “Amoriental,” a romantic comedy, has been incredibly successful, winning “Best Film” at numerous film festivals. Being part of that project was a blast! Of course, like every actor, I dream of one day holding an Oscar. That would be a dream come true.

Q: Can you share something people may not know about you? Any hobbies or other secret talents you have and or like to do in your spare time?

Priscilla Bell – AWell, I have quite a few hobbies. I love decorating, cooking, and even bowling. Anything that’s fun and engaging can quickly become a hobby of mine. I truly believe that life is too short to be bored, so fun is definitely my middle name!
In my spare time, I enjoy babysitting dogs. I love animals, and it’s a great way to help people when they need to travel or simply need someone to care for their furry companions. I’m also a bit of an adventurer. Traveling is another one of my passions, especially to islands where I can swim with dolphins. I absolutely adore dolphins! I try to swim with them whenever I get the chance.
Something that most people don’t know is that I’m also an inventor! I’ve created an amazing product that I hope to manufacture soon and bring to stores for parents to enjoy. It’s designed to make their lives a little easier. I can’t say much more right now, but keep an eye out!
Q: What are some projects that you’ve just wrapped up recently or that you’re currently working on now?

Priscilla Bell – A: My most recent project is a film titled “Shape Up,” which will be available on Amazon Prime this spring. I’m really excited about it! I also have some very exciting News. I just returned from Los Angeles where I won two awards. The first was for best actress of the year, and the second was for best actress for a commercial I did. As previously stated, my film “Amoriental” just received another award at a film festival in Canada for “Best Romantic Comedy.” It has also won in Bangkok, Europe, and other cities and countries. I’m very happy to have been part of this film as it continues to win.
