Q: Where are you originally from and where are you based now?

Harry – A: I am originally from Essex in the UK and after some time living in and around London, I am now back living in Essex.

Q: As a rising actor in the industry, what motivates and inspires you to be the best at your profession in acting and do you have a top 3 favorite actors, filmmakers, or directors that you want to work with in the business?

Harry – A: One of my big motivators is watching my favorite actors who inspire me. In film, I can watch Johnny Depp, Gary Oldman and Denzel Washington’s work all day long. Depp and Oldman’s uniqueness in how they shapeshift into characters is a masterclass, and Denzel Washington always gives the most honest performances.

I have always been a huge fan of American Television, ever since Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and I must say that David Boreanaz is also one of my favorite actors. I have followed his career over the years, and his longevity within the industry is truly inspiring. He is an actor who is always doing the work, and that motivates me to be better.

There are so many people I would love the opportunity to work with. To work with the likes of Christopher Nolan, Antoine Fuqua or Sam Mendes would be amazing. A director/writer who is a particular favorite of mine is M.J. Bassett. Her work on the Cinemax show Strike Back was a game changer for me. The long shots and the gritty attention to detail made the show up close and personal.

Q: What is your favorite genre in roles you play (Drama, Comedy, Action, Thriller, a little bit of all)?

Harry – A: I would say I definitely lean towards the Drama, Action and Thriller genres. My passion is playing dark and dangerous roles. Stepping out into the shoes of someone the opposite to myself is why I wanted to become an actor. After my training in screen combat and firearms, I have played multiple roles within the action genre. I have always wanted to be the actor who could bring as much authenticity to my characters as possible.

Q: Can you share with us something people may not know about you? Any hobbies or or other talents you have and or like to do in your spare time?

harry palmer

Harry – A: In my spare time, I’m mostly honing my skill set. Riding horses, motorcycles, or at the shooting range, but one thing that people may not know about me is that I love to cook! When I find some downtime, I’m in the kitchen following a new recipe. I have such a sweet tooth, so I’m always on the hunt for new desserts. I’m also adding a new skill to my resume as I start training to become a dog trainer in July.

Q: What are some projects that youve just wrapped up recently or that youre currently working on?

Harry – A: I’ve currently got multiple projects in various stages of pre-production, and all info can be found on IMDb. I am also starting a very dark and heartbreaking short film in July with an indie writer/director.
