Q: Where are you originally from and where are you based now?
Michael Larkin – A: I grew up in Huntington Beach, California, until the age of 10. I have been in St. Louis ever since.
Q: As a rising actor in the industry, what motivates and inspires you to be the best at your profession in acting and do you have a top 3 favorite actors, filmmakers, or directors that you want to work with in the business?
Michael Larkin – A: That question is difficult because there are so many answers to those, but I was born to be an actor. It was given to me as a gift to know exactly what I wanted to do from as early as 6 years old. I wouldn’t just watch movies, I studied them. I used it as a platform as a young child to learn from those I watched act. All that said, due to being given the gift of acting, there is no point in doing anything unless you want to be the absolute best at it. My inspiration is showing my craft and moving people with the authenticity of my performance. It is my calling, and I strive to be the best. I am more of an independent film lover. My top three directors would be David Fincher, Paul Thomas Anderson, and David Cronenberg. Aside from those, I love Martin Scorsese and the Coen brothers. Actors: I would love to act with Kurt Russell, Guy Pearce, and Lake Gyllenhaal.
Q:What is your favorite genre in roles you play (Drama, Comedy, Action, Thriller, a little bit of all)?
Michael Larkin – A: I love Drama the best, but as a jokester myself I can do comedy very well. Thriller I also have a love for. So a little bit of all would be just fantastic.
Q: Can you share with us something people may not know about you? Any hobbies or or other talents you have and or like to do in your spare time?
Michael Larkin – A: I love to do any charity work. I do charity work through my church. I have a passion for the game 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon. I can relate any actor to Kevin Bacon in 6 steps. I am an animal lover, and I train animals. After being in Law Enforcement for 13 years, I have a hobby in Psychology and crisis intervention or basic counseling for those in need. On top of that, my main hobby is studying movies. I did martial arts for a long period and also have a passion for that as well. I have a hobby of trying to counsel people in times of need, but my main hobby is film. My heart goes to animals as well as my heart going to movies.
Q:What are some projects that you’ve just wrapped up or that you’re currently working on?
Michael Larkin – A: I just wrapped up a movie called “Missing in STL.” That just finished, so now I am spending my time auditioning for the next project. Before I filed “Missing in STL,” I also filmed for a movie named “Fire of the Dragon,” which is yet to be released.

Michael Larkin – A: Unfortunately, due to my job, social media is looked down on. But I am on Skybolt Talent Agency and IMDB. But I am working on getting my talents out there on different social media sites.
