Yeniffer Behrens has appeared in numerous films and television shows, including The Specialist, The Way Back, Boston Legal, JAG, The Agency, Nip/Tuck, ABC’s General Hospital, C.S.I., and many others. Yeniffer was chosen to present an award to Wilmer Valderrama at the 34th Annual Golden Eagle Awards for her beauty, talent, and on-set energy. She has collaborated with some of the industry’s best, including Will Smith, Ben Affleck, Martin Sheen, Rosario Dawson, and others.
Yeniffer is continuing to make her mark in the industry alongside her husband, talented actor and producer Mauricio Mendoza, who has also starred in films with the hottest A-Listers such as Rita Wilson and Johnny Depp. Yeniffer and Mauricio founded True Form Films INC. and Shortcut 2 Hollywood. Q: When did you found True Form Films and what was your motivation behind opening the company?
When I went to Sundance Film Festival for the first time in 2006…The film Quinceañera won both the Audience and Jury Awards. I was blessed to have been sitting next to my then good friend Jesse Garcia. He and the filmmakers got up to receive their awards. It was soooo inspiring to see a Latinx film win that year. To my surprise, it wasn’t written, produced or directed by Latinos. I knew I needed to step up as an actress and become a filmmaker. I have so many stories in me that I want to tell. So, when I returned from Sundance Film Festival, a month later TRUE FORM FILMS Inc. was created. Since then TFF has produced many award winning films, web-series & documentaries.
Q: What kind of films does True Form Films Produce?
We have produced all genres, we love creating social impact and inspirational stories. For example, our first feature film, AFTER SCHOOL can be seen in the Spanish cable channel Cine Latino. A story about a boy being abused at home and how we, as a community, have the responsibility to protect our children. We believe it takes a village to raise a child. As well as to make a movie.
Q: Yeniffer and Mauricio, you are both multi-talented in the industry, and you are also generous in helping actors get the most exclusive services that actually help them rise in their careers. Can you give us some more detail about this and success stories?
