Get ready to experience a powerful and moving story when “Inventing Paradise” hits theaters on March 20, 2025. We discussed with Kenneth Price, the producer of Trinity Productions, to delve into the making of this unique film and explore the inspiration behind it.

Inventing Paradise, a feature film directed by Brady Jacquin and written by Sorren Carr, Kenneth Price, and Jeffery B. Wayne, is slated for a theatrical release on March 20, 2025. The story centers on Vanessa (Sierra Cevasco) and Reece (Chris Jehnert), a devoted couple whose perfect life is suddenly upended by the heartbreaking loss of their young son, Oliver (Huntly Plantz).

We asked Ken about his experience during the film’s production. His response revealed a desire for change and a broadening perspective on the nature of horror itself.
“I had just come off the production of a horror web series, and felt burned out from the genre,” Ken explained. “I wanted to expand my palette. I began to realize that horror can be anything – it doesn’t have to be a person in a mask picking people off one by one. It could be real-life experiences, or real-life loss. The idea of tragically and unexpectedly losing a loved one and trying to navigate life without them is a scary thought.”
This realization led to a collaboration with Soren, resulting in the story of “Inventing Paradise.” “We came up with this story about the chain reaction the death of a loved one can impact on those left behind. From there, the story kind of wrote itself.”
Going through the loss of his brother also had a significant influence on the making of this film. Kenneth Price discussed the intended message for the audience of the film “Inventing Paradise.” His response was both heartfelt and reassuring. He stated that grief can be a deeply impactful emotion experienced by many, but it’s important to remember that you’re not alone in your sorrow. Always treasure every moment spent with loved ones and strive to live on, in their honor.

Finally, we asked Ken what inspires him to always do his best on every project. His response revealed a deep-seated love for cinema and a desire to make a difference.
“I’ve always said this, I’ve been fortunate enough to know what I wanted to do with my life since I was eight years old. I love movies. I do it because I love it. If I can inspire just one person who watches my work to follow their dreams despite whatever curveballs life may throw your way, then I can go to sleep at night with a smile on my face.”

“Inventing Paradise” promises to be a deeply moving and thought-provoking film. Be sure to catch it in theaters on March 20, 2025!
