Q: Where are you originally from and where are you based now?

Mykall Davis – A: I’m a Southern California native and currently based in Los Angeles.
Q: Rising in the industry, what motivates and inspires you to be the best at your profession in acting, and do you have a top 3 favorite actors, filmmakers, or directors that you want to work with in the business?

Mykall Davis – A: My motivation comes from a passion for storytelling and the power it has to connect people. Every role offers a chance to explore new perspectives, evoke emotions, and leave a lasting impact on audiences. I’m inspired by the challenge of bringing authenticity to every moment, and collaborating with talented creatives who push me to grow. There’s always more to learn, refine, and discover.

Picking just three is a challenge, but I’d go with actors Gary Oldman and Daniel Day-Lewis, and filmmaker David Fincher for their incredible impact on me as an actor. Both actors push me to explore a wide range of characters and emotions. Their total immersion sets a standard for commitment that drives me to fully inhabit every role. And David Fincher’s meticulous craft and psychological depth inspire me to dig into a character’s psyche and honor the nuances of a great story. These artists show what’s possible when you pour everything into your craft, motivating me to bring that same passion and authenticity to my work.
Q:When it comes to the roles you choose, do you have a favorite genre, whether it’s drama, comedy, action, thriller, or a mix of them all?

Mykall Davis – A: Drama is my favorite genre to sink my teeth into, especially when it comes to playing the main antagonist. There’s something thrilling about embodying a complex villain with emotional depth and rich, chewy dialogue.

These roles let me explore the gray areas of human nature, diving into a character’s motivations and inner conflicts while delivering lines that resonate and challenge the audience. It’s a chance to create a layered, unforgettable performance that sparks both empathy and tension.
