Q: Where are you originally from and where are you based now?

Huntly Plantz – A: I was born in St. Petersburg, Florida, on January 28, 2009. I’m very active in the film industry and currently involved in projects spanning various locations, but I am primarily based in the Tampa Bay area.

Q: As a rising actor, what motivates and inspires you to be the best at your profession in acting and do you have a top 3 favorite actors, filmmakers, or directors that you want to work with in the business?

Huntly Plantz – A: I’m driven by a love for storytelling and making people laugh, with acting being my main passion. My motivation to excel in the film industry comes from the joy of entertaining audiences, and my desire is to continue growing as a performer. I admire top-tier talent in both acting and filmmaking. I’ve been involved in significant projects that focus on collaborating with respected figures in the industry.

Q:What is your favorite genre in roles you play (Drama, Comedy, Action, Thriller, a little bit of all)?

Huntly Plantz – A: I enjoy exploring various genres in my acting, with a particular fondness for roles that let me express my comedic side. My talent for humor always shines through, but I can also take on dramatic, action, and thriller roles. This versatility allows me to embrace diverse storytelling styles and keep my performances fresh and engaging. While I value all genres, my love for comedy often stands out, reflecting my natural inclination to make audiences laugh and have fun on set.

Q: Can you share with us something people may not know about you? Any hobbies or other talents you have and/or like to do in your spare time?

Huntly Plantz – A: One interesting fact about me is my love for travel! I’ve traveled extensively and have a passion for exploring new places and cultures. I think having an adventurous spirit influences my acting, as I’m able to bring out many experiences and a sense of curiosity to each role I play. I’m also known for having a very vibrant sense of humor, which people around me often enjoy, both on and off-set.

Q: What are some projects that you’ve just wrapped up recently or that you’re currently working on?

Huntly Plantz – A: My most recent projects include a supporting role in the feature film The School Duel, which will be released in 2024. I’m also starring in commercials, voice-over projects, and collaborations with major networks like Lifetime and Disney. In 2023, I received recognition for my acting talent, winning two Thespian awards for my monologue performances at Florida State and Regional competitions. These achievements have become very special to me and have highlighted my growing presence and versatility in the entertainment industry.
