Jack Glass is an actor whose dedication, perspective, and grounded approach to acting continue to set him apart. Read Below our exclusive Q&A with Jack that gives us insight into his background, creative mindset, and the journey shaping his growing career in the film industry!
Q: Where are you originally from and where are you based now?

Jack Glass – A: I was originally born and raised in Melbourne, but I am currently living in Sydney.
Q: Rising in the industry, what motivates and inspires you to be the best at your profession in acting and do you have a top 3 favorite actors, filmmakers, or directors that you want to work with in the business?

Jack Glass – A: The thing that motivates me to be the best is to just enjoy the process and realize that what I’m aiming for is essentially endless. I have no end goal, only to be better each and every day.
I do not have a top 3 actors, filmmakers, and directors, but I am happy to say that all actors who have managed to get consistent work have my respect and admiration because acting is not easy to do at the end of the day. It takes lots of talent and hard work to make it look so effortless and book those roles. In saying that, I would love to work with Quentin Tarantino, Christopher Nolan, and Wes Anderson. As for fellow actors, I would love to do a scene with Matt Damon, Christian Bale, and Denzel Washington one day.
Q: What is your favorite genre in roles you play (Drama, Comedy, Action, Thriller, a little bit of all)?

Jack Glass – A: All genres are great to play in my opinion. I love the thrill of doing more or less for a drama, and I really love watching the writing flow with some good comedy. Both genres are great, and in order to be a fully rounded actor, I honestly love doing both.

Q: Can you share with us something people may not know about you? Any hobbies or other talents you have and or like to do in your spare time?

Jack Glass – A: When I was around 11–12 years old, I was bitten by a snake. I know, trust an Australian to be bitten by a snake, but yes, I was bitten by a venomous snake and rushed to the hospital.
Q: What are some projects that you’ve just wrapped up recently or that you’re currently working on?

Jack Glass – A: I recently wrapped up a small short this year called What Are We. It was a fun shoot, and I look forward to seeing the final product. I have a bunch of my own projects, which I am very proud of, lined up, which I have been working on over the past couple of years. I look forward to seeing how they turn out.
