EXCLUSIVE RISING STAR: GET TO KNOW ACTOR KEVIN ROSE!

Kevin Rose is an SAG/AFTRA actor from NYC. Kevin has starred in popular TV Shows and has new projects in the works! Read below our exclusive interview with rising star actor Kevin Rose:

Q: Where are you originally from and where are you located now on the map?

Kevin Rose – A: I was born in Harlem and raised in the Bronx. I currently live in the Lincoln Center area of New York City.

Q: Kevin, as a rising star talent what would you say motivates you and inspires you to be the best at your profession and do you have a top favorite actors, filmmakers or directors that you want to work with in the business?

Kevin Rose – A: I am always motivated by the challenges of embodying a new character and the truths that I learn about myself in the process. I have worked with some incredible actors like Blair Underwood, Jon Voight, Alexa Davalos and BD Wong and I hope that I can keep learning from such accomplished professionals in the future. To share a scene with Anthony Hopkins would be remarkable.

Q: As an actor , what would you say is your fav genre in roles you play( Drama, Comedy,Action, a little bit of all) ?

Kevin Rose – A: I was originally drawn to dramatic acting as I studied Shakespeare’s tragedies and contemporary American dramas while I completed my theater arts degree at university, but I enjoy finding the dramatic in comedy and the comedic in drama and so far, my resume is evenly divided between both.

Q: Can you share with us something people may not know about you? Any hobbies or other secret talents you have and or like to do in your spare time?

Kevin Rose – A: I’m currently training in the martial art of Aikido. In my free time I enjoy writing, studying Ayurvedic medicine and Pranayama yoga. I also enjoy photography and hiking in the many parks of New York State.

Q: What are some projects that you’ve just wrapped up recently or that you’re currently working on now?

Kevin Rose – A: Recently I have played lead roles on stage in ‘A Raisin in the Sun’, ‘Our Lady of 121st Street’ and ‘Getting Away with Murder’, and then I directed a staged version of ‘A View from the Bridge’. I can currently be seen performing on CBS’ primetime drama “FBI: Most Wanted” as Detective Colin O’Malley, assisting the FBI team in a manhunt to track down a kidnapper.
