Q: As a Celebrity Real Estate Agent, what would you say you love most about working in such a high profile business? Can you share any experience or your day to day life in the business?
Shawna – A: I love that I get to get very intimate with high profile personalities. I get to see them from a very human vulnerable side. Buying a home is very personal, I love that I am entrusted with something so private. My day to day life is sometimes exciting and sometimes stressful. It consists of waking up EARLY, checking emails, social media, and texts. Coffee, and rushing to get dressed. Most days I have showings and meetings ALL day. I can shuffle between 3/4 clients a day. I spend a lot of time in my car on the phone putting out fires, scheduling contractors, scheduling showings for clients both residential and commercial, reading offers, getting lost trying to multi task while driving! lol! I’m very hands on when I’m getting work accomplished for my clients!
Q: LA certainly has there modern homes and mega mansions in the multi million dollar range. Can you give us an insider secret on what are some of the hottest neighborhoods on the market that Celebs usually purchase from?
Shawna – A: LA certainly is a mecca for mega homes! Some of the hottest areas are Hidden Hills, Palisades and Beverly Hills of course.
Q: Shawna, you’ve been a fashion designer, now you are High Profile Celeb Real Estate Agent, but you are also an entrepreneur founding your own company called Peace, Love & Protein. Can you tell us more about that ?
Shawna – A: Yes! I was a costume designer actually when I first moved to LA. I designed costumes/wardrobe for film and TV. I’ve always been very passionate about taking care of the inside of the body not just the out, which is what brought me to create my own vegan protein! I searched for a long time to find a protein that would include all of your essential vitamins, is vegan and also not taste like dirt or chalk.. I couldn’t. Mine not only fulfills that void it actually tastes really amazing and has a surprise ingredient in it!
Q: What is something that people may not know about you? Do you have any secret talents or hobbies you enjoy when your not showing properties to Hollywood’s A Listers ?
A: Well, I love to paint! A lot of people don’t know that about me. I have a room in my house with a wall full of paintings. I also love to swim. I have this crazy connection with water, it calms me and gives me clarity.
Q: What are some projects you’ve just wrapped up or that you’re currently working on now?
Shawna – A: Right now I’m wrapping up some really big deals in LA for my clients in real estate. I’m consulting and speaking to other female entrepreneurs about how I got into Airbnb rentals and made it a success. Currently I’m focused on a project for my company Peace, Love & Protein. My brand manager Sophie Felix and I are working on our upcoming campaign to showcase my new products. So be on the lookout for my launch soon!
