‘Why I Love Christmas Time’ dropped just in time for the holiday season! Congratulations on your release! How long did it take you to write ‘Why I love Christmas Time’?
Savannah Lathem – A: When the lyrics and music hit me it is usually happens very quickly. I usually grab a pen & paper, or try to get to a piano as quickly as possible to play the song & record it. I know it sounds crazy, but I can hear the whole song played out in my head from start to finish.
If you could do a musical collab with anyone, who would it be and why?
Savannah Lathem- A: I would love to co-write with Grammy Award-Winning Artist Mary Gauthier someday. That would be a dream come true for me. I have the utmost respect for just how brilliant her work is. Mary’s songs have been recorded by some of my favorite artist like Dolly Parton, Jimmy Buffett, & Blake Shelton. I love that her music is also in TV & Film because that is a huge passion for me to continue to have my music in TV & Film.
