Q: Where are you originally from and where are you based now?
Rhyme Poetik – A: I’m from Angola, but was raised in Portugal before moving to England. I’ve been in London from a very young age and I’m still based in London until this day.
Q: You are a rising artist in the music industry, motivates you and inspires you to be the best at your profession ?
Rhyme Poetik – A: What motivates and inspires me is to be the best version of myself and the love for the culture. HipHop has a deep cultural meaning to me. Also the feedback I receive from my supporters really keeps me going. Everyday life inspires me.
Q: If you could select one Celeb to collab with on a song, who would it be and why?
Rhyme Poetik – A: There are many artists I would love to collaborate with picking one would be very difficult, but I think BlackThought from the Roots is an incredible artist. I’d love to trade ideas with, he is one of my favourite m’cs.
Q: Can you share with us something people may not know about you? Any hobbies or other secret talents you have and or like to do in your spare time?
Rhyme Poetik – A: In my spare time, I like to read books and watch documentaries, I like to find out about other people’s cultures and backgrounds. I also enjoy playing football, a lot and working out in the gym, I wouldn’t call it a secret talent, but I also like acting, I have played a role or two in some amateur series.
Q: What are some projects that you’ve just wrapped up recently or that you’re currently working on now?
Rhyme Poetik – A: At the moment I’m working on a collaborative project with another artist (Don Jaga) we have released the first single to the album, the song is called Deixa, its available on all streaming platforms and we also got the video done, it’s doing really well, the feedback has been amazing.I’m also working on my solo project entitled Fake is The New Real, and have just released another video with some guest features, my solo project is fully recorded and ready to be presented to the world, by next month it will be out.
