Actor John Cain is known for his roles in Enemy of Reality, Trip to the Moon and Out of Breath (2022)! He is rising in the film industry and has some great projects coming out soon! Read below our exclusive interview with Actor John Cain:
Q: Where are you originally from, and where are you located now on the map?
John Cain – A: Ou, That is an excellent question. It depends on what we mean by that. Where was I born? In Rome, Italy. My father is Italian, and my mom is Russian Jewish. I grew up in Moscow from the age of 5 to 20, and then I came to NYC when I was 20 years old. Subconsciously, I consider myself an American. Your 20s are a time of figuring out your blueprint for life. You’re launching toward your future, full of energy and possibility, right? And that’s where my story begins in my 20s here in New York, NY.
Q: What motivates you and inspires you to be the best at your profession, and do you have a top 3 fav actors, filmmakers or directors you want to work with within the business?
John Cain – A: A simple philosophical way of life. I believe that we are spiritual beings who come here to have a human experience. Therefore, as long as you do your best to become the most refined version of yourself, you should be fine. All we need is to listen to our inner voice ..hmmm when you have time, read any work of Marcus Aurelius and his philosophical way of life. It’s a world map of how to live your life and, of course, “In the Time of Your Life,”, by William Saroyan, a real road map.
As an actor, you’d want to tell the story and do it in the most truthful human way, but what is it to be one or even become the one, and to go through your character life, what is it truthful, and how will anyone do it it will be his way to portray that character, and way to direct and set up a lighting. I am fascinated by the industry and all talents around us, as we all come together with a different ideas but to serve the same purpose … so for me there’s no such thing as the best or favorite because it’s all relevant. I would probably consider them outside their career and will try to dig a little more of who they are as people.. what they did for their community how kind, funny, generous, and humble they can be, what and how I can connect with them on many levels in life indeed based on what public information we have and what we think and know. I would love to work with Mr Denzel Washington, Matt Bomer, Johnny Depp, Dustin Hoffman, Adriano Celentano, Javier Bardem and Joaquin Phoenix.
Q: Can you share with us something people may not know about you? Any hobbies or other secret talents you have and or like to do in your spare time?
John Cain – A: Farming, farming, and farming! We have neglected the truth that a good farmer is a craftsman of the highest order, a kind of artist. Just like Thomas Jefferson said, “Agriculture is our wisest pursuit because it will in the end contribute most to real wealth, good morals, and happiness.” I also love horse-riding and enjoying a beautiful book on a warm, glorious sunset when I have free time, which doesn’t happen a lot.
Q: What are some projects that you’ve just wrapped up recently or that you’re currently working on now?
John Cain – A: I’m working on a short movie where I play the role of Francis, a disgruntled tax worker who scams a resident to compensate for his boss’ abuse — a decision which ends up costing him dearly. I am also starring in an upcoming TV series in 2023 where I’m playing a police officer .I can’t talk much about it yet, but surely it will be a fascinating story on transgender rights, setting back in the late 80’s in New York City, how they were mistreated, it’s based on a true story with every human feeling you might think of .
