Adam Miele is a professional actor featured on TV, Commercials and Film. Adam has some amazing news and film projects wrapped up! Read below our exclusive 2021 interview with Actor Adam Miele:
Q: Where are you originally from and where are you located now on the map?
Adam Miele – A : I am originally from Fairview Park, OH. A small suburb of Cleveland, OH. I currently reside in Atlanta, GA.
Q: Adam, you are known for your roles in Dog Eat Dog, Touched by an Angel, and How to Change the World, What motivates you and inspires you to be the best at your profession as an actor, and do you have a top 3 favorite actors, filmmakers or directors that you want to work with in the business?
Adam Miele – A: Great question! What motivates and inspires me, is the fact that I can tell a story or someone’s story. That I can be a channel. I remember as a kid, watching films in a different way, even all the way through the credits. Looking up the documentary on films and stories. I loved how I felt watching these stories and I feel honored to be able to give that to someone, one day.
I actually have a top 5 list of actors and actresses, in general. My friends and I have these discussions back home. In keeping true to the question, my top three would be Al Pacino (of course), Denzel Washington, and Leonardo DiCaprio. Unfortunately, I missed the chance to work with the late and extremely great, Robin Williams. Again, more greats like Meryl Sreep, Halle Berry, are some others on my full list. As far as filmmakers, I would absolutely say Martin Scorsese, Ron Howard, and Rob Reiner. Again, more greats on my list include Steven Spielberg and Micahel Bay. For the sake of the questions, those are my top three.
Q: You have an amazing look for action & crime dramas along with a real-life background in studying Criminal Justice! As an actor, what would you say is your fav genre in roles you play( Drama, Comedy,Action, a little bit of all) ?
Adam Miele – A: I would have to say a bit of everything. I don’t/never wanted to contain myself in one area. At least give them all a try. Of course there will be areas you are most comfortable doing, however, you need to push yourself out of that comfort zone. You could find some great things out there. That genre line explains the different portrayals of me. What I mean is, people that know me, been around me, know that I love to be silly. I’m a huge goof! Hahaha! I’ve been told I’m funny, I just don’t see or consider myself as a comedian, just a dorky goof. Now, also being raised in old school Italian values, believe me, I know when to be serious. I’m a first-generation Italian-American. My father moved to the states at just 18 years old. As far as the action, I’m an outdoors kind of guy. You know, growing up when I did and in the Midwest, you had to keep busy, find or come up with things to do. Typically meant neighborhood sports, bmx riding, etc.. We made our own bike ramps, and had trails that we groomed to be more difficult. Extreme ski trails, as I got older. You know, the norm. Lol.
Q: Can you share with us something people may not know about you? Any hobbies or other secret talents you have and or like to do in your spare time?
Adam Miele – A: I have an adrenaline junkie streak, but an Ambivert personality, for sure. I need my downtime. Like I was saying, as action roles, we always made activities more exciting to us. A bike ride turned into extreme racing, or making ramps to jump. Downhill skiing turned into jumping off the path and making our own. Great life analogy there, huh. We had some land in southern Ohio, growing up. There we were free to roam and do whatever; dirt bikes, shooting, frozen pond hockey. The list goes on. I will say that the two things I haven’t done yet, and will do at some point… is sky dive and Great White Shark dive in South Africa. The latter has always been a dream activity of mine! Other slower speed hobbies are taking my little Yorkie (my baby for sure) for a short walk, sporting activities, hiking/camping in beautiful scenery, fishing, or even just a patio brunch or a drink on a gorgeous day, and classic cars. I love and with the help of my father and older brother, rebuilt a 1966 Mustang Coupe.
Q: What are some projects that you’ve just wrapped up recently or that you’re currently working on now?
Adam Miele – A: The last couple are still in production, so I can’t give away much there, other than one is a short film and the other is a limited series on HBO. 😉 I have also recently completed an episode of Real Murders of Atlanta, which should be airing later this year or at the start of 2022. A few commercials- World’s Famous Dermatologist, Metabo HPT Tools, and YouTube commercials for Octane Seating, at home theater equipment. I have the great pleasure of saying that I recently signed with a new agency, Aligned Stars, and will be pursuing work in multiple markets!
