Galina, you have acted in quality productions in both film and tv and now have started your own production company! Can you tell us more about it and what kind of films it will be producing?

Galina Slavova -A: By immersing myself in various projects both in front of and behind the camera, I have gained invaluable knowledge and experience. Inspired by this journey of growth, I am thrilled to announce the launch of my very own production company, Gitana Dreams Production, LLC. The name embodies the essence of my gypsy soul and a boundless free spirit. I am excited to kick-start this venture by producing my first short film, a project that I have personally written. This marks the beginning of a larger vision I hold dear: to create a platform that empowers artists to showcase their exceptional work.

With Gitana Dreams Production, I aim to foster an environment where creativity flourishes and diverse voices are celebrated. Together, we will embark on a journey of artistic exploration, opening doors for aspiring talents and nurturing their unique visions.

Congratulations on publishing your poetry book “Hidden Smile in My Soul” The title shows the depth of the book. What was your inspiration behind writing the book and where is it published?

Galina Slavova -A:Thank you very much. This poetry book delves into the realm of emotions that often evade description, allowing us to articulate our profound pain and intense indignation. However, its true superpower lies in giving voice to our love, joy, and fervor. Within its pages, we embark on a journey that encompasses every facet of life: love, heartbreak, vulnerability, and the essence of what truly matters. It offers an exploration of the human experience, offering solace, inspiration, and a profound understanding of the depths of our souls.

During my teenage years, I found my inspiration to write poetry. With a profound connection to my inner soul, expressing my thoughts and feelings verbally proved challenging, leading me to pen them down and nurture them within the confines of my own secret world. Carrying a pen and a small notebook in my purse became a constant companion, allowing me to capture moments of inspiration and the depths of my emotions. Today, I have embraced the liberating power of vulnerability, openly expressing myself and recognizing that true strength lies in baring one’s soul.

Are you starring or producing any new projects in film?

Galina Slavova -A: Yes, indeed! I am currently involved in an exciting new film project. I have written a captivating horror film titled “Dead Stare” and will be taking on the roles of Executive Producer and Lead actor. Additionally, I have embarked on a journey of learning the piano, driven by my desire to create and perform an original I wrote for my movie. “ Dead Stare” is a short film about a former famous actress no longer in her prime who is deeply affected by the social media standards of today’s world. She suffers from a severe mental disorder that causes her to fear aging and obsess over maintaining her youth at any cost. Lisha (the lead character) resorts to extreme measures to maintain her youthful appearance, and her pursuit of eternal beauty leads her down a dark and dangerous path.

The concept for this film emerged from the depths of a haunting nightmare, sparking a creative fire within me.

I am thrilled to collaborate with an exceptionally talented cast and crew, and we are now in the Pre-Production phase, eagerly preparing to bring this project to life on screen. Once we wrap up the production of the short film, we have exciting plans in motion to venture into the creation of a full-length feature.

Galina, you have experience in the industry from acting to producing. What would you say your favorite part about making a film is ( rehearsals, shooting, seeing the film on red carpet premiere night )?

Galina Slavova -A: Thank you for your question. While every stage of the filmmaking process is exciting and fulfilling, if I had to pick a favorite, it would be the actual act of being in the filmmaking process and acting. There is something incredibly rewarding about immersing myself in a character, bringing them to life, and collaborating with the director, fellow actors, and crew members to create a compelling story. The rehearsals and shooting days are where the magic happens, and I thoroughly enjoy the creative energy and the opportunity to fully embody a character’s emotions, motivations, and experiences. It’s truly an exhilarating and fulfilling experience for me as an actor.
