Tony Masek is a talented actor and a visionary individual. He always sought for excellence and adaptability. He is a go-getter and won’t let up until his objective is achieved. The individuals in his life enrich these ideals in him as well. Tony is currently closely collaborating with GAT Management, a global management firm with talent all over the world, for this reason. Read below our exclusive interview with Actor Tony Masek:
Q: Where are you originally from and where are you based now?
Tony Masek – A: I was born and raised in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic in Europe. A great place for actors, since many international productions are being casted there, which is why I am currently based in Prague as well.
Q: Tony, you are known for your roles in Shadow and Bone, The Letter for the King , The Painted Bird and many more great film productions! Do you have any favorite directors, producers or actors that you’d love to work with in the industry?
Tony Masek – A: Oh definitely! Who immediately comes to mind is an actor Matthew McConaughey, who’s work is truly outstanding. It would be a true honor to be on set with an actor of such caliber one day! As for directors, I would love to work with Guy Ritchie, since his movies are super raw and I like the humor that he brings to screenplays. Very unique and inspiring!
Q: Earning a 4th belt in Krav Maga is amazing itself and really gives you an edge in bringing real life action to set ! As an actor, what would you say your favorite genre is and would you consider doing your own stunts?
Tony Masek – A: : My favourite genre is definitely “action, gangster and superhero” movies. And yes, I would love to do some stunts on set, which is why I have been working on these skills for quite some time now. I started out in Krav Maga and then moved on to new martial arts such as Kick-Box and Thai-Box. I am currently looking for new ways to improve my “ground game”. Therefore, to perform fight scenes and shootouts in particular is definitely something I would enjoy doing in the future.
Q: Can you share with us something people may not know about you? Any hobbies or other secret talents you have and or like to do in your spare time?
Tony Masek – A: I absolutely love financial investments and constantly look for new business opportunities. I literally could spend hours diving into the Stock and Crypto market. Another virtual passion of mine are video games. I would love to have a role in a video game and then play the game myself. That would be so much fun.
