John K. Frazier is an American Actor known for his roles in many productions, including Dhar Mann, Tabloid, Murder Book, The Mentalist, I-Carly and a new TV- MOVIE on LMN! John is one of the rising stars in the entertainment industry! Read our exclusive interview below with Actor John K. Frazier:
Q: Where are you originally from and where are you located now on the map?
John K. Frazier – A I’m from Dallas, Texas. I’ve lived in Los Angeles for the last 19 years.
Q: John, you graduated from a Performing Arts College and starred in many popular TV-Series, Films, and Commercials! What inspires you to be the best at your profession and do you have a top 3 favorite actors, filmmakers or directors that you want to work with in the business?
John K. Frazier-A : I have always been inspired to do my best at anything I’ve wanted. I think it is hard-wired in me. When I was a kid and wanted to be good at basketball, I practiced every day for three or four hours in the summer. I would put myself through drills. I now realize that’s not normal for a kid in 5th grade. I did the same thing when it came to football, track, and theater. I never considered myself talented at any of the things I wanted, but I figured that I could outwork everybody else. I was not good when I started acting. Some would say I was dreadful. I was shy and had the worst anxiety and nerves when I first started. I loved it and knew if I kept working and working at it, I would eventually get good at it. It took a long time, but I never gave up. Before things could start happening, I really just had to get out of my own way before things could start happening.. What I mean by that is that I needed to feel confident in myself. I always knew I wanted to be a good actor, but it wasn’t until I decided that I was a good actor that things started to happen. As far as who I want to work with, the list is much longer than three, but I’ve always wanted to work with Tom Hanks, Bryan Cranston, Steven Spielberg, and Christopher Nolan, to name a few.
Q: What would you say is your favorite genre in films?
John K. Frazier – A Can I say all genres? I’ve always loved romantic comedies and suspenseful movies.
Q: Can you share with us something people may not know about you? Any hobbies or other secret talents you have and/or like to do in your spare time?
John K. Frazier – A : I started writing an inspirational book during the pandemic based on my years as a personal trainer. I also write, paint, and try to sing. A lot of hobbies went by the wayside during the pandemic, but I want to start playing basketball again. I’m a talented massage therapist as well.
Q: What are some projects that you wrapped up recently or that you are currently working on now?
John K. Frazier – A: A movie I was in just aired on the Lifetime Movie Network in January called “Killer Stepmom.” I play Howie, the love interest of the main character. I also just got back from San Francisco, where I shot a commercial, but since it hasn’t come out, I can’t yet say for what.
