Q: Where are you originally from and where are you based now?

Chase Cargill – A:  I’m originally from Houston, Texas and I’m currently based in Los Angeles.

Q: Chase, you are a professional writer and actor known for Echoes of Violence (2021), The Axiom (2018) and Rock Steady Row (2018)! What motivates you and inspires you to be the best at your profession in acting and do you have a top 3 favorite actors, filmmakers or directors that you want to work with in the business?

Chase Cargill – A: I’ve always loved doing this, even through the ups and downs. I’m very grateful to be genuinely so passionate about something, and to be able to pursue it alongside so many talented and creative people I know fulfills me more than anything. I’ve always been a big ol fan of Heath Ledger, Phillip Seymour Hoffman and Andy Serkis, to name a few actors. Rian Johnson always blows me away with his originality and risk taking, and Christopher Nolan always breaks my brain (in a good way).

Q:  As an actor, What would you say is your fav genre in roles you play (Drama, Comedy, Action, Thriller, a little bit of all)?

Chase Cargill – A:   I really do love all genres as an actor, but I’ve definitely always had a particular draw to drama. I’ve gotten to stretch my action muscles more recently though which has been a total blast.

Q: Can you share with us something people may not know about you? Any hobbies or other secret talents you have and or like to do in your spare time?

Chase Cargill – A:   I grew up in a house with over 50 animals in it. My mom is a crazy science lady. I had a frilled lizard (yeah the kind from Jurassic Park) in my bathroom who still haunts me to this day. I’m also a fantasy book nerd…cause who doesn’t love magic and dragons? Also, camping has always been a really important part of my life! Getting off the grid is good for the soul.

Q: What are some projects that you’ve just wrapped up recently or that you’re currently working on now?

Chase Cargill – A: I just wrapped up a really exciting project that’s been in the works for over 3 years. It’s a feature film called The Misadventures of Vince and Hick, directed by the incredibly talented Trevor Stevens, starring me and my forever scene partner Heston Horwin. We came up with the idea back in 2019, made a series of shorts during the pandemic, and just finished our 5 week shoot for the film last month in Nogales, Arizona. We can’t wait to show everyone what we’ve been cooking up, and it was easily one of the best experiences of my life.
