Rising Star Exclusive: Get To Know Azure Wyvern!

Azure Wyvern is a an actor, artist, colsplayer and radio show host. Azure is passionate for creating different forms of art and has some great new projects in the works! Read below our exclusive Q & A with Azure Wyvern:

Q: Where are you originally from and where are you based now?

Azure Wyvern -A: I’m originally from Fayetteville, North Carolina, and currently live there as well!

Q: Azure, you are rising in the film industry! What motivates you and inspires you to be the best at your profession in acting and do you have a top 3 favorite actors, filmmakers, or directors that you want to work with in the business?

Azure Wyvern -A: My motivation comes from 2 sources. The first source is my grandparents from my mom’s side of the family. They showed me the joys of creativity and being true to myself no matter where I go in life and what I decide to pursue. Big shoutout to my parents as well because I have my mom’s creativity and my dad’s logic! The other source is my learning disabilities, I have ADHD, Autism, and Aspergers which made certain things challenging for me growing up as a child. However, I’ve learned to use these disabilities as my gifts to learn, grow, and use them towards my passions and my family and friends have been a great support system! My 3 favorite actors/directors I want to work with are Bill Butts who voices Ogre from Tekken: Bloodline, Chris Faiella who is the voice director of Genshin Impact, and Ben Schwartz the voice of Sonic the Hedgehog in the movies!

Q: What is your fav genre in roles you play (Drama, Comedy, Action, Thriller, a little bit of all)?

Azure Wyvern -A: I love all the genres but Action, Comedy, Sci-Fi and really speak to me because of all the different aspects that go that down in them. Whether it would be superheroes or straight out funny situations I’m there for it!

Q: Can you share with us something people may not know about you? Any hobbies or other secret talents you have and or like to do in your spare time?

Azure Wyvern -A: I have a twin sister and I come from a military family. It goes all the way back to my grandfather serving and parents and uncle have served and now my sister continues the tradition in serving. My hobbies and skills include gaming, watching anime, writing, photography, videography, graphic design with custom-made anime style art and logo, and cosplaying. My hidden talents include martial arts, Kenjutsu, and parkour. I love pushing both the physical and creative boundaries of my limits every chance I get.

Q: What are some projects that you’ve just wrapped up recently or that you’re currently working on now?

Azure Wyvern -A: I’m currently editing a few videos for my YouTube channel I do with my closest friends and have recently recorded a voiceover demo for radio imaging spots. I’m also currently working and training in an upcoming showcase in July up in Raleigh, North Carolina!
