Q: Where are you originally from and where are you currently based?
Karin Ann – A: I was born in Slovakia and currently I’m based in between a lot of places.
Q: As an international singer in the music industry, can you explain how you got started and how would you explain your style of music?
Karin Ann – A: I was always around music, I grew up doing figure skating, ballet, dance, and gymnastics, and that all includes music.
I never exactly thought I would be able to do music as my career though because it’s not exactly a conventional career so I went to art school for graphic design. Unfortunately, when I was a freshman I injured my hand in a way that I wasn’t able to draw so I had to change schools, and on top of that my main way of expression was taken from me so I started writing songs.
In terms of style, it always changes, being authentic is important to me so the style of music I do reflects me at the time of making a certain song.
Q: If you could collaborate with any celebrity or other industry pro in music, who would it be?
Karin Ann – A: There’s entirely too many to pick, I love so many artists and so many people in the entertainment industry… Also, I wouldn’t want to jinx anything so I’d rather keep it private.
Q: Can you share with us what projects you’ve been working on or have upcoming?
Karin Ann – A: I’ve been working on a lot of new music, some music videos as well as some other things that I’m not ready to reveal yet which you’ll hear about soon!
Q: What is something people may not know about you? Any hobbies or other secret talents you have and or like to do in your spare time?
Karin Ann – A:Phew… There are a lot of things people don’t know about me but I also like keeping it that way because when someone lives in the public eye it’s good to have a part of yourself that you don’t share with people.
