Q: Where are you originally from and where are you located now on the map?
Rene Rivera -A: I was born in San Antonio, Texas. I now live in Los Angeles, CA.
Q: Rene, you are know for your roles in “Agent X”, “Dog” and the Broadway production of “Salome” starring Al Pacino! What would you say motivates you and inspires you to be the best at your profession and do you have a top 3 favorite actors, filmmakers or directors that you want to work with in the business?
Rene Rivera -A: I feel motivated and inspired in my work by remembering my childhood, where I come from, and especially by the love I shared with my parents and my brothers and sisters. I’d be very grateful to work with Joaquin Phoenix, Jennifer Lawrence, and Amy Adams one day. The same with directors Paul Thomas Anderson, and David O. Russell, to name a few of the few.
Q: As an actor, What would you say is your fav genre in roles you play( Drama, Comedy,Action, a little bit of all) ?
Rene Rivera -A:A little bit of all!
Q: Can you share with us something people may not know about you? Any hobbies or other secret talents you have and or like to do in your spare time?
Rene Rivera -A: I love taking my kids to the zoo, bowling, and playing in the park with them. I love living healthy, exercising, and collecting vintage mountain bikes. I dance freely, juggle, play drums, and listen to great music from around the world.
Q: What are some projects that you’ve just wrapped up recently or that you’re currently working on now?
Rene Rivera -A:I recently finished an independent film titled PLEA, written, and directed by Brian McQuery.
