Q: Where are you originally from and where are you located now on the map?
Clio Barcella -A: I am originally from Italy (Bergamo, a small city 45 minutes from Milano). I moved to New York City a few years ago.
Q: As a professional fashion designer, what inspired you to start your own line?
Clio Barcella -A:I wanted to create a “one of a kind” style. I only produce 1 unique piece at a time. I have never liked following trends just to feel part of something, on the contrary, I have always wanted to be different and particular, experimenting with fabrics and volumes of course, but keeping a sense of elegance and style. I am specialized in women’s collar shirts, which is a very versatile garment that can be covering more than one occasion.
Q: Who have been some of your fashion inspirations?
Clio Barcella -A: The great fashion icons from the past: Marlene Dietrich, Jane Birkin….At that time elegance was still alive.
Q: How would you explain your style and do you have a top 3 fav outfits?
Clio Barcella -A: I would describe my style ashigh quality, timeless, witty, and very recognizable. Here below 3 of my fav outfits/pieces:

Q: Can you share with us something people may not know about you? Any hobbies o you have and or like to do in your spare time ?
Clio Barcella -A: I love to dance. I have been dancing for my whole life. I share my apartment with an old little guy called Mister Jackon, my dog. I have a twin brother.
