Enea Pagni is a rising star actor in the entertainment industry. Enea has some projects that will be released this year and is excited for more on the way! Read below our exclusive Q & A with Actor Enea Pagni!
Q: Where are you originally from and where are you based now?
Enea Pagni – A: I was born and raised in Italy. My family originally came from different areas of Tuscany, however, I have spent most of my life near Vinci in Tuscany. It’s a really small village, and it’s the same Vinci that gave birth to Leonardo Da Vinci!I can say that I grew up between the mainland, bigger cities as well, mainly Florence and Milan, and the insular part of Tuscany, which holds a unique spot in my life. In December 2021, I moved to New York City, and that is where I am currently based.
Q: Enea, as a rising actor, what is your motivation and inspiration behind acting?
Enea Pagni – A: I have a strongly anthropocentric vision of life, and I believe in the power of humans to come together. Have I witnessed an encouraging amount of this? No. Change is almost a utopian concept, but I do believe in it. There cannot be change without an impact or input of any kind. I seek to trigger that input as an actor, as an artist. I wish to ignite a spark that I hope will create controversy. How boring would life be otherwise?
Q: What is your fav genre in roles you play (Drama, Comedy, Action, Thriller, a little bit of all)?
Enea Pagni – A: Although I enjoy playing roles that fit all of these genres, I have to admit that I have a preference for drama. Even though I have been told before that I have good comedic energy.
Q: Can you share with us something people may not know about you? Any hobbies or other secret talents you have and or like to do in your spare time?
Enea Pagni – A: I have always considered myself a person full of life. I struggle when I am not doing anything. I am always looking for what is next. Sometimes I sit in Bryant Park and talk to strangers and listen to what they have to say about whatever it is they are passionate about.I am very passionate about aviation and biology. I read about them all the time. I have even had the pleasure of using professional flight simulators with real pilots in the past few years. Whenever I go back to Italy during summer, I take my gear and I go swimming. I know the majority of the marine life in the Mediterranean Sea like the palm of my hand. Or I simply sit on the shore when nobody is around. I write poems in front of it. The sea fuels a lot of my inspiration as a person.
Q: What are some projects that you’ve just wrapped up recently or that you’re currently working on now?
Enea Pagni – A: I have just wrapped a short film directed by Byungseon Kong and produced by Columbia University titled “Watches.” I cannot wait to see the final cut of it; it’s going to be great. Such a great environment on set. I do have a project towards the end of this year that I am truly thrilled to be a part of, which I am not going to mention. Gotta keep the negative energy away! This is also the year that will see past projects come together for premieres and first screenings, so I am looking forward to that and to seeing again the people I have worked with on those films.
