Q: Where are you originally from and where are you located now on the map?
Joshua Stephens – A: I am from Simi Valley, CA but currently reside in North Carolina
Q: What led you to acting ? How did you get started?
Joshua Stephens – A: I have a friend who’s new to the industry that I have been following for a while. I expressed my interest to him and he encouraged me to get out of my comfort zone and audition for a role.
Q: Joshua , you are steadily rising to success in the film industry. What is your top motivation and inspiration to be the best at your profession and do you have a top 3 favorite actors, filmmakers or directors that you want to work with in the business?
Joshua Stephens – A: My motivation and inspiration come from the people who will watch my films. I want to make a memorable impression. As for actors, filmmakers and directors, there are so many but if I have to name a few, I would say Tarantino and Clint Eastwood for filmmaker/directors and Bruce ‘Busta’ Soscia and Adam Sandler for actors.
Q: As an actor what would you say is your favorite genre of roles you go for (Drama, Comedy,Action, a little bit of all) ?
Joshua Stephens – A: Action, Comedy and horror.
Q: What is something that people may not know about you? Any hobbies or other secret talents you have and or like to do in your spare time aside from acting ?
Joshua Stephens – A: As a kid and through high school, I used to ballroom and swing dance. Hobbies, I like to play the drums and collect memorabilia. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my wife and family
Q: Can you share with us some projects that you’ve just wrapped up recently or that you’re currently working on now?
Joshua Stephens – A: Just before COVID, I finished A few short films such as Embezzlement ‘a true short story’, Another Sunrise and The Stranger You Know. Upcoming is The Legend of Johnny Jones, Detour 95, The Street Avengers, STZ and Transition.
