Destiny Berry is a young multi-talented actress rising in the film industry. Destiny recently completed a film that was released on Tubi and Amazon Prime! Read below our exclusive interview with Actress Destiny Berry.
Q: Where are you originally from and where are you based now?
Destiny Berry – A: I was born in Oakland, California, raised in Livermore, CA, and now I’m based in Woodland Hills, California.
Q: As a rising actress, what would you say motivates and inspires you to be the best at your profession in acting and do you have a top 3 favorite actors, filmmakers or directors that you want to work with in the business?
Destiny Berry – A: My mother is definitely my motivator. From an early age, she saw that everyone should see my face on the big screen because of the natural talent that I had, and feedback from acting instructors and schools has definitely helped me boost my confidence in saying where they see me in film and TV. Millie Bobby Brown and Zendaya are my favorite actors, and I would love to work with them in film.
Q: What is your fav genre in roles you play (Drama, Comedy, Action, Thriller, a little bit of all)?
Destiny Berry – A: Drama is my strong point.
Q: Can you share with us something people may not know about you? Any hobbies or other secret talents you have and or like to do in your spare time?
Destiny Berry – A: I’ve taken jazz, hip-hop, and tap dance classes since age 7. I worked with Howard Fine Studios in LA. I’ve taken multiple acting and improv classes in auditions, as well as film, TV, commercial, and teleprompter. I’m also taking theater and voice studio broadcast in high school. I’m taking piano lessons and voice lessons also to be more marketable. I love working with charities to help underprivileged kids in school. I work with the wellness center. I am a social bunny and always will rise to a challenge!
Q: What are some projects that you’ve just wrapped up recently or that you’re currently working on now?
Destiny Berry – A: This past Christmas, I co-starred in “Gift Wrapped” on Tubi and Amazon Prime. I also play a role in the award-winning documentary “Transformations” that was released in August 2023, starring Eric Roberts and Brian Austin Green. I’m currently filming a role in a movie coming out this fall. I’m waiting for a SAG movie to be released where I co-star as a sister in the film “Smile, God Loves You.”
