Tegan Switzer is a young fresh faced American Actress. Tegan is starting out in the entertainment industry with talent, passion and drive. Tegan is a rising star versatile actress that can be both dramatic in her roles and has a great sense of humor for comedy. Read below our exclusive interview with actress Tegan Switzer:
Q: Where are you originally from and where are you current located now ?
Tegan Switzer – A: I’m from Mustang, OK. I lived there from birth to 19, when I went to college. I currently live in Moore, OK.
Q: Rising in the film industry, what inspires you to best at your profession and Do you have a top 3 selection of favorite actors, filmmakers or directors that you admire and want to work with in the business?
Tegan Switzer – A:I’m inspired by people and performances that make me feel something deep in my gut. Any time I feel something that strong, it makes me want to do something which makes another person feel those things. I’ve been a fan of JJ Abrams for such a long time, I would love to work with him. My other top two to work with would be Patty Jenkins and Jon Favreau. I bad at picking favorites, so I’m going to add Edgar Wright to my list.
Q: What would you say is your fav genre in roles you play (Drama, Comedy, Action, a little bit of all) ?
Tegan Switzer – A: I want to be John Wick, if that’s any indication, but I also have a sense of humor that’s very “What We Do in the Shadows” and I would love doing something like that, as long as it’s not improvised bc that terrorizes me.
Q: Share with us something people may not know about you. What hobbies or other secret talents you have and or like to do in your spare time aside from filmmaking ?
Tegan Switzer – A:Something people may not know about me is that I’m so quiet because I like to choose my words wisely. I have a deep fear of upsetting someone with my words. I also have a fear of falling that’s so strong, I feel that fear sometimes when I’m just walking about. I don’t have to be 50+ feet in the air to feel it. I also sometimes keep working when I should really take a break. My hobby is writing and that’s because I’m bad at it. I can sometimes be good with dialogue, but I fall short on anything else.
Q: Do you have any new or recently finished projects that you can share with us?
Tegan Switzer – A:I do not have anything at this time. I’m just taking classes at The Actor Factory and auditioning a lot.
